⚠ BREAKING CHANGES

• TLS certificate verification is now always on. Behind an SSL-inspecting proxy whose root CA is in the OS certificate store, nothing changes. If your server or proxy uses a CA that is not in the OS store (for example a self-signed internal server), install its root certificate in the OS store, or export the certificate (e.g. from your browser) and set NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS=/path/to/cert.pem. PNCLI_VERIFY_TLS is no longer read.
